Village Picnic
We’re delighted to announce details of the first Village Picnic at Court Orchard Field. The afternoon will include a vintage tractor rally, and details of both events are in the flyers below. If you have any questions, please email friends@st-candida.org or for the tractor rally phone Betsy on the number shown.
ALL WELCOME! This is a free event although modest donations to help us cover our costs will be appreciated.
Activities:
Live music and picnic 1 to 3pm
Games 2 to 4pm
Quarter peal of church bells from 3pm
Parade of vintage tractors 4.15pm
Tractor rides throughout the afternoon
Flower & Dog Show Skittles Event at the Five Bells 6 to 10pm
Please note: Car parking will not be available on the field for the picnic. There is space immediately outside the field gate for five or six cars, and we will be reserving this for people with limited mobility. Everyone else is asked to park elsewhere or walk to the event if possible. Parking will be available at the village hall (with lifts to the field by tractor-trailer) and at the church. If you park in the church car park, you can enter the field through the pedestrian gate off the church path. You will be able to drop passengers with picnic equipment, chairs, etc., at the field gate before going to park but you won’t be allowed to drive onto the field.
Toilets will be available in the church and at the Five Bells.
